Mouse Mansion

Mouse Mansion was a tv-series being developed at Grid in Ghent. It was a 3d version of the famous children picture books ‘Sam en Julia’ by Karina Schaapman. These cute handmade mice inhabit a huge doll house with many rooms for their friends and family. 

I did the design of the main characters, trying to catch the charm of the original puppets, but making them more distinct. I drew the storyboard and made the animatic for the teaser-episode. I created the overview of the new digital dollhouse and supervised all additional character and set designs. We were gearing up for production when the project was put on indefinite halt at the closure of Grid.
